The first comic and entertainment show in Chicago at McCormick was a success. I loved the fact that 100+ artists were available to talk and sell their prints and comics. Neil Gaiman was the feature, but we passed in favor of getting through all the booths. The artists really mentioned that Diamond Distribution has a near strangle hold on what comics books go to the stores. They feel that they treat the new indies w contempt and brutal terms. The internet age will slowly open up the market. I hope to feature some of the underground indies in the next few months. There is the talent all being suppressed out there and C2E2 show was the first to give them a chance.

Frank Cho was swamped w requests.
